Modern Slavery & Ethical Sourcing
We are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains. We buy, refurbish and sell smartphones and related accessories. Our key suppliers include refurbishment partners and parts suppliers (primarily in China), logistics providers, and service vendors.
Our policies and expectations
- Zero tolerance for forced, bonded or indentured labour, human trafficking or child labour.
- Ethical recruitment: no worker-paid fees; freedom of movement; no retention of original identity documents.
- Fair treatment: no harassment, discrimination or intimidation.
- Wages, benefits and working hours must meet or exceed local law.
- Safe, healthy workplaces with adequate PPE, training and emergency procedures.
Supplier Code of Conduct
All suppliers must sign and comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which mirrors the standards above and includes:
- Compliance with applicable labour laws;
- Right to audit and access to relevant records;
- Corrective action plans and timelines where issues are found;
- Consequences up to termination for non-compliance.
Due diligence & risk assessment
- Pre-screen new suppliers (company registration, references, sanctions/adverse-media checks).
- Contract clauses prohibiting forced labour and permitting audits.
- Risk-based assessments focusing on higher-risk tiers (refurb/parts suppliers).
- Independent audits or third-party verification where red flags appear.
- Track remediation until closure; escalate if unresolved.
